Meet Stormy
Stormy is a robot mower we installed. He has a mowing pattern, a schedule his owner adjusts from the couch, a winter home in the garage, and neighbors who stop by to ask about him. He also has a name — which is what happens to nearly every robot mower we install, usually within a week, usually from the kids.
“Love my robot (Stormy). They came out, set him up and off he went. They answered all the questions I had, which weren't many because they went over every detail. We were able to switch his mowing pattern, how often he mows and length of the mow. We put him away for the winter but it's now time to get him out and get him started mowing. Everything from your phone
Nobody buys a robot mower for the app. Everybody ends up loving it. The whole yard lives on your phone:
- Watch it live. The mower's position on your map, zone by zone, with battery and progress. Camera models stream video — the LUBA 3 and the Terranox, which you can drive around the yard first-person like a very slow, very useful drone.
- Change your mind from the couch. Cut height per zone, the schedule, the mowing direction for stripes or a checkerboard, rain behaviour, headlights for a night run.
- Get told what happened. Finished the back yard. Paused for rain. Met an obstacle by the shed. Back on the dock at 6:12.
- Send it somewhere now. A spot mow before guests arrive is a tap, not a Saturday.

Common questions
Can I name my robot mower?
Yes — every app we set up lets you rename the mower, and it's usually the first thing a family does. Stormy, above, is a real customer's robot. Kids name most of them.
Can I watch it work from my phone?
Yes. The app shows the mower's live position on your map, its progress through each zone, battery, and every event (rain delay, obstacle, finished). Models with a camera — the LUBA 3, the Terranox — stream live video, and the Terranox can be driven around the yard first-person from the app.
What can I control?
Everything the mower does: the schedule per zone, cut height per zone, mowing direction (stripes, checkerboards), rain behaviour, no-go zones, headlights for night runs, blade-change and cleaning modes, and a manual drive for the spot you want done now.
Do neighbors really stop and ask?
