Terms of Service
1. What this is
Zippy Lawn Mapping (the "tool") is run by Zippy Lawnz, an authorized robotic-mower dealer headquartered in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The tool measures a lawn from satellite imagery, checks the sky for RTK positioning, estimates cellular signal, and recommends a robotic mower that fits. By using the tool, the mapping app at app.zippylawnz.us, or a proposal we send you, you agree to these terms.
2. Estimates are preliminary
Every number the tool produces — lawn area, slope, sky view, cellular signal, battery life, cost — is an estimate from maps and public data, labeled with how it was produced and how confident we are. It is not a survey and not a guarantee. We confirm the details that matter on a call or a site visit before anything is sold or installed. You should not rely on an estimate alone to buy equipment, plan a property, or make any other decision.
3. Your account
Mapping a lawn needs no account. Saving it does. Accounts are created through Clerk, our sign-in provider; keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used them. One person per account. You can delete your account and everything saved under it at any time from My Zippy → My account, or by asking us.
4. Fair use
Use the tool for properties you own, manage, or are helping with as a homeowner, a property manager, or an authorized Zippy Lawnz dealer. Don't scrape it, bulk-request it with scripts, probe for other people's data, or try to get around a limit. The tool rate-limits and validates every request and will refuse abuse; we may close an account that persists.
5. Proposals and electronic signatures
When we send you a proposal and you sign it online, you accept the proposal as written and agree to be contacted to schedule. Nothing is charged at signing. Payment terms, delivery and the work itself are set out on the invoice or order that follows, which you approve separately. Your signature is an electronic signature under the U.S. E-SIGN Act with the same effect as ink: we record the time, the method (drawn or typed), the network address and device it came from, and a cryptographic fingerprint of the exact document you saw, so a later edit can never be mistaken for what you agreed to. You receive a copy of the signed proposal by email.
6. Dealers and contractors
Approved installer partners order through the dealer portal at dealer pricing. Those orders are subject to our approval, and a separate dealer agreement governs pricing, territory and marketing materials. Marketing pieces we provide must carry the dealer's own contact details and identify them as an authorized dealer.
7. Your data
How we collect, use and protect your information is in our Privacy Policy and our Security page. In short: we never sell your data, we contact you about your lawn and quote because that is the point of the tool, and you can delete everything at any time.
8. Maps, reports and content
The maps, reports and proposals the tool builds for you are yours to use for your property. The tool itself, its methods and its content belong to Zippy Lawnz. Satellite imagery and mapping come from Google Maps and are subject to Google's terms. Don't copy or resell the tool or its output as your own.
9. No warranty, and the limits of our liability
The tool is provided as it is, free of charge, without warranties of any kind, including that its estimates are accurate or that it will always be available. To the extent the law allows, Zippy Lawnz is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the tool or its estimates, and our total liability to you for the tool is limited to the amount you paid us for it, which for the free tool is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here changes the warranties that come with equipment you actually buy from us.
10. Changes, law and contact
