Refer a neighbor
Know somebody who hates mowing?
That's $100.
Give us their name. We measure their lawn from satellite, make one friendly call, and if they end up with a robot mower, $100 comes back to you. You don't have to sell anything — that part's our job.
No cap on how many. You don't need to be a customer.
How it works
Three steps, and two of them are ours
You tell us who
A name and a phone number is plenty. Anything you add — their street, why you thought of them — just makes the call better.
We do the work
We measure their lawn from satellite first, then one friendly call. No pressure, no mailing list, and if a robot isn't right for their yard we say so.
They switch, you get $100
Credit toward blades, accessories or service — or ask us for a $100 gift card, or send the $100 to a charity you name.
Hand us a name
Who should we call?
Takes about thirty seconds. We'll email you a receipt so you know it landed.
Got it — thank you 🎁
We'll take it from here. Check your email for the receipt.
Know someone else?
Rather not hand over a friend's number? Call or text us on 410-725-7500 — or use your own sharing link below.
🔗 Share your own link instead
Every customer has a personal link. Anyone who maps their lawn through it is tagged to you automatically — no forms, no reminding us who sent them. It's on your home page when you're signed in.
🌱 Haven't mapped your own lawn?
You can still refer someone. But if you're curious what a robot would make of your yard, the map is free, takes about two minutes, and measures the lawn from satellite before anyone talks to you.
The small print, in plain English
What we're actually promising
- $100 for each person you send who buys a mower from us. No cap, no expiry.
- Paid once their mower is installed — store credit by default, or a gift card, or a donation to a charity you name. You choose.
- We call your friend once. No mailing list, no drip campaign, no automated email — a person, on the phone, once.
- You don't have to be a customer to refer someone.
- If they're already talking to us, nobody gets a duplicate call and we'll tell you straight where the credit stands.
- Their details are used for that call and nothing else, and we'll delete them on request.
Questions
The things people ask first
Do I have to be a customer to refer someone?
No. If you know someone who'd be better off with a robot mower, tell us and the $100 is yours when they buy — whether you own one of our mowers or you've never spoken to us before.
How many people can I refer?
As many as you like. It's $100 per person who ends up buying a mower from us — there's no cap and no expiry.
When do I actually get paid?
After your friend's mower is installed and paid for. The default is store credit toward blades, accessories or service, but tell us and we'll send a $100 gift card instead, or donate the $100 to a charity you name.
What will you do with my friend's details?
Call them once, from a real person, to see whether a robot mower actually suits their lawn. We don't add them to a mailing list, we don't start an email sequence, and if they're not interested that's the end of it. Their details are used for that call and nothing else.
Should I tell them first?
Please do — a call lands much better when they're expecting it. Tell them we'll measure their lawn from satellite before we come out, so the first conversation is about their actual yard, not a sales pitch.
What if they're already talking to you?
Then nothing changes for them and nobody gets a duplicate call. Referral credit goes to whoever was recorded first — if that's already someone else, we'll tell you straight rather than quietly dropping it.
