How it works

Name it
Every report in our free mapping tool has a "name your mower" card, and the Name Tags room takes a name right there too. Stuck? There are suggestion chips — Mowana, Edward Scissorhands or Sir Mows-a-Lot.
Design it
Pick one of 6 templates (they re-letter live as you type) or start from blank. Fonts, colors, shapes, a slogan, your phone number, the Zippy mark, your own photo or logo — everything on the plate prints. Save it to your lawn plan.
We print it
The design you saved goes onto a genuine Navimow decorative camera housing on our UV flatbed, in-house. Not a sticker: the ink is cured onto the part, the same process used for outdoor signage.
On the mower
Fitted at your install, or shipped ready to swap onto a mower you already run. Swapping the housing is the work of a minute, and the camera underneath is untouched.

The housing is the decorative camera cover on the front of these machines, a genuine Segway Navimow part. Prices are the mower's MSRP and the nameplate; the nameplate is an add-on, never bundled into the mower's price. Other brands: not yet — tell us and we'll say the day we can.

The things people ask first
Which mowers does the nameplate fit?
The Navimow X430 and X450 and the Terranox CM120M1 and CM240M1. The housing is a genuine Navimow part — the decorative camera cover on the front of those machines — so it fits exactly like the one the mower came with. Mammotion, Yarbo and Lopkin mowers don't have an equivalent part yet; tell us if you'd like one and we'll say the day we can.
How much is it, and what's included?
$120. That's the housing, the print, and the designer — design as many times as you like before we print. Tax where it applies, shipping if we're not fitting it at your install.
Do I have to be a Zippy Lawnz customer?
No. Any owner of one of the mowers above can order one. Buy it in the store, log in to the free mapping tool, map your lawn (a couple of minutes — it gives the designer a mower to name), name the mower, design the plate and save it. We print what you saved.
Do I need to send you a file?
No. The design lives in your account the moment you save it, and that's what we print. If you want the file anyway — for a second plate somewhere, or to proof it — the designer downloads a 600 dpi print file of your plate.
Does it affect the camera or VisionFence?
No. The print goes on the outer face of the decorative housing; the camera, its window and every sensor are exactly as Segway built them.
Will it fade or peel?
It's UV-cured ink printed onto the part, not a vinyl sticker — the same process used for outdoor signage and industrial labels. Sun, rain and the mower's own washing don't lift it. A blade, a curb or a careless strimmer can scratch any finish, so keep text inside the dashed safe line the designer shows.
Can I change the design later?
The design is yours to edit any time in the Name Tags room; the printed plate is the printed plate. A new design on a new housing is a new nameplate at the same price.
I'm buying a mower from you — is the nameplate included?
It's a $120 add-on, not part of the mower's price. Ask for it on your proposal and it arrives on the mower at install, already fitted.
